Breaking the Chains of Addiction
Do you or someone you know struggle with an addiction? Living Waters Recovery Program is designed to help those suffering from all types of addictive behavior. Our program operates with a talk, talk, talk format: we talk to God, He speaks to us, and we share with others what God is doing in our life by way of testimony. We invite you to join us every Friday night at 7:00pm. You will be challenged and encouraged to grow in your walk with God as the life changing power of Jesus Christ works in your life.
Our Program
RU is a faith-based, Christ-centered recovery program designed to rescue, recover, and restore those in addictive behaviors with the power of the victorious hidden life found only in Jesus Christ.
The Reformer’s Unanimous program began in Rockford Illinois and offers help for thousands of addicted men and ladies. It has now expanded into churches, prisons, and online resources across the United States and around the world. Our prayer is that the RU chapter of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Abingdon, VA, can be a help to you and your family.
What to Expect
There are many different ways for you to be involved in our faith-based recovery classes. You will be immersed in discipleship with the help of small groups and curriculum that guides you to the root issues. You will learn how to effectively deal with triggers. Also, you will experience healing from the underlying causes of addiction.
Who RU is For
Our program is for the person who feels like they are struggling alone in their addiction. It is for the discouraged and defeated searching for answers. It is for the friend not sure how to help and for the person with a desire for more. RU is more than just a class and curriculum; it is an opportunity for you to experience freedom, healing, and a relationship with Jesus Christ.
